First Electric LLC (“First Electric,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at firstelectric.pro and the First Electric Admin mobile application used by our staff. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our website and Admin app.

We provide this notice so you understand what we may collect depending on how you interact with us. Categories may include:

Purposes at or before collection: respond to inquiries; schedule and perform electrical services; operate and secure our website and Admin app; comply with law; improve our services; and (when analytics are enabled) understand site usage.

Sensitive personal information / Limit Use

• Service / street addresses: yes. We collect addresses needed to quote and perform electrical work.
• SSN, driver’s license, financial account numbers: not collected for ordinary website / CRM operations described here.
• Health / medical information: no.
• Race, religion, union membership, sexual orientation, and similar demographic fields: not currently collected. If we later collect such fields, we will update this notice and apply Limit Use where required.
• Contents of communications: business phone SMS and calls via our telephony provider (OpenPhone) may be logged and accessed by staff for operations (scheduling, quotes, service follow-up).
• Precise geolocation vs address: we use addresses you give us for service. We do not use the public marketing site to collect continuous precise GPS for advertising.

Where California law treats information we hold as sensitive personal information and requires a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” right, we will honor applicable requests through Contact us below. We intend to use sensitive personal information (if any) only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide the services you request, security, legal compliance, and short-term transient use, not for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Sources of personal information

• You, directly (contact / intake / booking forms, phone, email, SMS if applicable).
• Your devices / browsers, automatically (logs, cookies or similar technologies when analytics are enabled).
• Service providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, email delivery, analytics vendors when enabled, telephony).
• Lead / referral channels you used to reach us (for example Yelp, Home Depot Pro referral, Google Business Profile), limited to what those platforms share with us when you request service.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Provide electrical contracting services and customer support
• Respond to quotes, bookings, and service requests
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website and Admin app
• Communicate about appointments, invoices, and service (transactional)
• Comply with legal obligations, safety requirements, and enforce our Terms
• Analyze aggregated site usage when analytics are enabled
• Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents

We do not use website analytics for cross-context behavioral advertising. Measurement tools, when enabled, load only after you Accept on our analytics consent banner (see Analytics, cookies, and tracking).

Analytics, cookies, and tracking

On this website, a consent banner asks you to Accept or Reject before third-party analytics load (Google Analytics 4 when configured, plus Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights). Reject (or no choice) keeps those trackers off; your choice is remembered in your browser.

If you Accept, those services may set cookies or similar technologies and receive internet activity data (pages viewed, approximate device/browser info, IP-derived location). You can also control cookies via browser settings.

Essential hosting and security technologies may still process technical data needed to deliver the site (for example CDN and bot protection). Those are described as service providers below.

Sale: We do not sell personal information for money.

Share (California law): “Share” can include disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We configure site analytics for measurement and performance, not for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can Reject analytics cookies on our consent banner; for other opt-out style requests, contact us below.

We may disclose personal information to:

• Service providers / contractors (hosting, email, SMS/voice, payments, analytics when enabled) to operate the site and business under contracts limiting use
• Professional advisors (counsel, CPA, insurance) as needed for the engagement
• Authorities, when required for legal process, safety, or fraud prevention
• Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or financing

We do not authorize service providers to use your personal information for their own unrelated advertising.

Depending on how you interact with us, personal information may be processed by providers such as:

• Vercel hosts this website (analytics/speed tools only when enabled)
• Cloudflare: DNS / routing / bot protection (Turnstile when enabled)
• OVH (or our VPS host): application hosting for our business systems
• Sentry: error and performance monitoring
• Google Workspace / Google Calendar / Google Maps: email, scheduling, and address tools for operations
• OpenPhone: business voice and SMS
• Invoice Ninja: invoicing and quotes
• Stripe: card payments when used
• Google Analytics 4 / Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights: site measurement only after you Accept on our consent banner
• Expo / EAS: staff Admin app distribution
• Optional AI providers (for example OpenAI or Anthropic), only when those features are enabled for our systems

Lead and referral platforms you use to contact us (for example Yelp, Home Depot Pro referral, Google Business Profile) are typically sources of information about your request, not vendors we hire to run our CRM.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. For analytics cookies, use Accept or Reject on our site banner (Reject keeps measurement tools off). A separate dedicated “Do Not Sell or Share” link may be added if our advertising or sharing posture changes.

If you wish to submit an opt-out style request another way, contact us using the details in Contact us. We will honor applicable requests. We will also honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law for covered businesses.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident and the CCPA/CPRA applies to us, you may have the right to:

• Know / access categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected
• Delete personal information (subject to legal exceptions, for example completing a transaction, security, or legal retention)
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information
• Limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
• Non-discrimination for exercising CCPA/CPRA rights

How to exercise: Email or call using Contact us below. We may need to verify your identity (for example, match contact details we already have). Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority; we may still need to verify the consumer. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 45 days, with a possible extension when permitted).

Even when formal “business” thresholds under California privacy law may not apply, we aim to provide a clear, strong privacy notice and a practical way to contact us about your information.

Retention

We retain personal information while reasonably necessary for day-to-day operations (scheduling, jobs, customer support, Admin app); legal, licensing, insurance, and tax recordkeeping; dispute resolution, warranty, and security investigations; and website / security logs and (when enabled) analytics for so long as needed for those purposes.

When information is no longer needed for those purposes (and no legal hold applies), we dispose of it by deletion or de-identification, subject to backup cycles and ordinary technical limits. We do not currently publish fixed calendar year windows for every data class.

Data security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical steps designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong credentials and keep them private where you have account access.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are directed to adults seeking electrical contracting services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 for marketing. If you believe a child provided information, contact us to request deletion.

First Electric Admin app

The First Electric Admin app is used by our staff for business operations. It may use:

• Camera: to take and upload photos for jobs, appointments, and customer records
• Account and profile information provided when signing in
• Data entered (customers, appointments, jobs, documents) in the course of work

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Material changes may also be highlighted on this page.
