Referral Program Terms
Last updated: July 18, 2026
These terms govern First Electric’s customer referral thank-you program. Reward amounts, discounts, or minimum job values stated in a specific campaign message apply to that campaign when they differ from examples on this page.
1. Overview
First Electric LLC (“First Electric,” “we,” “us”) may offer a thank-you when a current customer (the “Referrer”) introduces a new customer (the “Referred Customer”) who books and completes a qualifying paid electrical service. This is a customer appreciation program, not a lottery, sweepstakes, or investment opportunity.
2. Eligibility to refer
Referrers must be existing customers in good standing. Employees of First Electric are not eligible for referral rewards for introductions made in the course of their job unless we approve an exception in writing. Self-referrals, referrals of your own household or business entities you control, and circular referrals are not eligible.
3. Who counts as a new customer
The Referred Customer must be new to First Electric — someone who has not previously purchased a qualifying service from us (or whose household we reasonably treat as an existing customer). We may decline rewards where the referred party is already in our CRM as a customer or active lead before the referral.
4. How attribution works
Attribution requires a reasonable connection between Referrer and Referred Customer, such as: mentioning the Referrer’s name when booking; using a referral link or code we provide; or arriving through a tracked campaign link. If multiple people claim the same referral, First Electric decides attribution in good faith based on available records. We may ask either party for clarification before issuing a reward.
5. When rewards are earned
- The Referred Customer must complete and pay for a qualifying service.
- If a campaign states a minimum job amount, that minimum applies before rewards issue.
- One reward per Referred Customer / household unless staff approve an exception.
- Dual-sided thank-yous (benefit for the friend and for you), when offered, are described in the campaign message (for example account credit and a first-job discount).
- Rewards are typically account credit, a stated discount, or another non-cash thank-you. They are not cash unless we expressly say so.
6. Account credit & expiry
Account credit, when issued, may be applied toward future First Electric services as we describe at the time of issuance. Unused credit may expire after a period we set (commonly up to twelve months unless a campaign says otherwise). Credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
7. Taxes
You are solely responsible for any tax consequences of rewards you receive. Where required by law, we may request tax information (for example a Form W-9) before issuing rewards above applicable reporting thresholds, and we may issue tax forms.
8. Limitations & changes
Referral rewards generally cannot be combined with other promotions unless we say so. We may pause, modify, or end the program, or refuse a reward for fraud, abuse, or policy violations, with notice on this page or in future messages where practical. Void where prohibited.
9. Privacy & messaging
Contact details used for referrals and rewards are handled per our Privacy Policy. Marketing messages honor opt-out preferences (SMS: reply STOP; email: unsubscribe link).
10. Questions & disputes
Call (657) 239-6331 or email contact@firstelectric.pro. Learn more on our referral page. Program decisions by First Electric are final for ordinary reward disputes, subject to applicable law. These terms are for customer communication and are not a substitute for advice from your own attorney or tax advisor.
