2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old (or the age of majority in their state of residence, if higher) at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its contractors engaged to operate the giveaway, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible. One entry per person / household per giveaway period unless a campaign notice expressly allows more.

3. Promotion period

Each giveaway begins and ends on the dates stated in the campaign message (the “Promotion Period”). Entries must be received before the stated end date/time (Pacific Time unless otherwise noted). Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeping device for the promotion.

4. How to enter — no purchase necessary

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. A purchase, payment, or review will not improve the odds of winning.

During an active Promotion Period, enter by either:

Free alternate method of entry (AMOE): Visit firstelectric.pro/giveaway and follow the phone or email instructions to request a free entry. Provide your first name, last name, email or phone, and mailing city/state. Incomplete requests may be discarded.
Optional feedback path: Complete the feedback / review experience linked from a campaign message. This path is optional and has equal dignity with AMOE — it does not increase your chances of winning.

Limit one (1) entry per household per Promotion Period. Automated, scripted, or bulk entries are void. Sponsor may disqualify entries that appear fraudulent or in violation of these Rules.

5. Prize

Unless a campaign message states a different prize, the prize is one (1) Home Depot gift card with an approximate retail value (ARV) of two hundred U.S. dollars ($200). Gift cards are subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions; they are not redeemable for cash except as required by law. Prize is non-transferable. No substitution except at Sponsor’s sole discretion for a prize of equal or greater value. Winner is solely responsible for any taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and use. The Home Depot is not a sponsor of or affiliated with this giveaway.

6. Winner selection & notification

One (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the Promotion Period ends. Selection is performed manually by Sponsor staff with an internal audit record (human-in-the-loop draw). Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by phone or email using the contact information provided at entry within approximately fourteen (14) days after the draw. If the potential winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days, fails to confirm eligibility, or declines the prize, Sponsor may select an alternate winner by the same method. By accepting the prize, winner grants Sponsor permission to use winner’s first name and city for announcement, unless prohibited by law.

7. Public list of winners

For a list of winners for a completed giveaway, send a request within sixty (60) days after the Promotion Period ends to contact@firstelectric.pro with the subject line “Giveaway Winners List,” or mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to Sponsor at the address above (WA and VT residents may omit return postage).

8. Privacy & messaging

Information collected in connection with entry is used to administer the giveaway and as described in our Privacy Policy. Marketing messages are subject to your preferences; you may opt out of SMS by replying STOP and of email via the unsubscribe link in campaign messages. Opting out of marketing does not cancel a valid giveaway entry already received.

9. Release & limitation of liability

By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim arising out of participation or prize acceptance/use, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or garbled entries; technical failures; or human error. If fraud, technical failure, or other factors impair the integrity of the promotion, Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway and select a winner from eligible entries received before the impairment, if appropriate.

10. Disputes

Except where prohibited, all disputes arising from this giveaway are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and shall be resolved individually in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. To the extent permitted by law, you waive any right to participate in a class action related to this promotion.

11. General

Participation constitutes agreement to these Official Rules. Sponsor’s decisions are final on all matters relating to the giveaway. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Rules are provided for customer campaigns; they are not a substitute for advice from your own attorney. Sponsor recommends legal review before each live promotion.
